San Francisco Art Institute’s Exhibitions and Public Programs will present historic exhibition catalogs alongside more recent publications for sale at the 2017 San Francisco Art Book Fair (SFABF)—including a special selection of newly-commissioned zines and works on paper by current students and recent alumni.

SFAI’s booth at the fair will feature a curated offering of artist zines and prints by recent alums and current students. Confirmed student and alumni artists include: Aaron Wilder, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Bryon Christman and Drew Grasso, David Dugoncevic, Joanne Easton, Ryan Harrison, Oliver Hawk Holden, Izidora Leber LETHE, Olivia Nevins-Carbins, and Kaitlin Trataris.

Publications from every decade of SFAI’s history dating to the 1960s will be represented. A range of catalogs, posters, and other materials will be available to the public for the first time, allowing collectors a unique opportunity to own a piece of Bay Area art history. These publications will include visual and written works by: Jill Magid, David Ireland, Javier Tellez, Hou Hanru, Sue Williams, Lee Bul, Jens Haaning, Sarkis, Wes Wilson, David Cannon Dashiell, David Park, Paul Chadbourne Mills, Jay Defeo, Jennifer Allora and Guillermo Calzadilla, Carlos Villa, and many more.
