2015 - 2018 Tethered Series

Pipes, power lines, traffic signals. Those of us living in urban environments may avoid interpersonal interaction with strangers around us, but we are all unavoidably tethered to the same grid. Infrastructure affords us many conveniences we take for granted. They provide services we use daily that are financed by taxes we pay. They also, in a subtle, round about way symbolize our estranged connections to one another and to the overarching governmental apparatus. Tethered is visual documentation of urban infrastructure as well as a celebration of the everyday aesthetics of our environment that tend to go unnoticed.
